Family owned and operated since the late nineteen nineties, current owner Adam Grice worked in the business for eight years until he and his wife Lisa bought and took over management of Southern Removals in 2008.
Since then Southern Removals has continued to be family operated and service and people oriented.
Led by Adam and Lisa, the staff of approximately twelve operates as a team, with each member handpicked to reflect the company’s strict staff selection criteria. “We are fussy. When we choose new staff we look for someone with the right attitude, because attitude cannot be trained,” says Lisa, “We have a high retention rate and because we have great working conditions, staff form family-like bonds.”
“We look for someone who will work as part of our team. They must be exceptional and a good team player with great attitude. So we look for someone who is responsible, trustworthy, positive, friendly, obliging, courteous and people orientated. Our work is ongoing and we work in rain, wind and of course low temperatures, so our staff members need to be flexible and resilient.”
Southern Removals devotes itself to offering a full and professional service to meet varying client requirements.
Team leader, Adam brings a positive, holistic and professional approach to Removals and he tries to make the process as enjoyable as he possibly can. His obliging, friendly and reassuring approach reflects his understanding of the stresses associated with moving and he works with care to ensure that your furniture is moved safely.
Adam’s love of a challenge and solving problems means that he will always find a way to safely move just about anything!
Southern Removals’ office and storage facility is located in Berrima Road, Moss Vale (near Home Hardware).
There is always someone looking after the office Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm and on Saturdays between 8am and 12pm, so your call will be answered or returned quickly between these times.
